Robert Beverly Hale Library: Monday, 10-5; Tuesday, 1-8; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 1-5.
The South Kingstown Public Library Board of Trustees is looking for additional trustees.
The Trustees are volunteers serving the community. As legal guardians of the Library, they ensure that the Library fairly and effectively services the needs of all of the residents of South Kingstown. "Wigglers (6 months - 24 months)": Tuesdays at 10:30 A.M.
"Terrific 2s & 3s": Wednesdays at 10:30 A.M.
"Preschool (3.5 years - 6 years)": Thursdays at 10:30 A.M.
Join us each week for interactive storytimes filled with fun stories, music, movement, hands-on activities and more! Registration is not required. There will be NO storytimes the week of Thanksgiving.
Wednesday, October 14th, November 4th and December 2nd
4:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M., at Peace Dale Library
Join us for open lego building, then share what you created and display your lego creations until the next meeting. We also welcome builders to contribute a page for the library’s Lego Storytellers book! Geared towards ages 5-12 years, but all ages are welcome. Legos are supplied by and stored at the library. 8-12 Grade Book Club

Students in grades 8-12 are invited to join us for our all new book club! This month we'll be reading The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson. We’ll also chat about what other books we love, do a small craft project, choose a name for out group, and pick the book title for our next meeting.

Do you love to bake? Are you interested in supporting the library? The Friends of the Peace Dale Library are looking for donations of baked goods to be sold at our upcoming Book, Bake, and Hat sale on Saturday, November 7th. Please label any donations that contain possible food allergy ingredients (ex. nuts) and drop off items by Friday, November 6th.

Join us Tuesday, October 20, 6:30 PM at Peace Dale Library with Pettaquamscutt Historical Society and Dr. E. Pierre Morenon of the Rhode Island College Department of Anthropology for "The South Kingstown Quaker Meeting House Fire of 1790".
A team from URI, RIC, CCRI, and the PHS recently conducted a forensic investigation at a historic site in Wakefield to determine the location of the Meeting House, which burned mysteriously in 1790. The talk will showcase findings and methods, local Quaker history, and the Hazard family connection.
