Schedule of Budget Meetings - This is a tentative schedule and dates are subject to change;

Agendas and minutes are posted on the Town website (linked on the calendar and ClerkBase) and the Secretary of State’s website.

Initial Budget Hearing held December 20, 2021 to discuss and solicit comments from the public relating to the general goals and objectives of the development of the FY 2022-2023 municipal and school budgets.

Town Manager’s Proposed FY 2022-2023 Capital Improvement Program (CIP)

Wednesday, January 5, 2022: Town Council work session with municipal department directors to review proposed CIP

Thursday, January 6, 2022: Town Council and School Committee work session to review proposed CIP 

Monday, January 24, 2022: Town Council Public Hearing to hear from the public and adopt the Fiscal Period FY 2022-2023 through FY 2027-2028 Capital Improvement Program.

FY 2022-2023 Town Manager Proposed Budget

TOWN MANAGER PROPOSED BUDGET FY 2022-2023 (updated 3/14/2022)** Proposed Budget as submitted 3/1/2022 (Town Manager's Proposed FY 2022-2023 Operating Budget) has been updated - see list of pages replaced noted on errata sheet.  

The Town Council held the following work sessions to review and discuss the proposed budget:

• Thursday, March 3rd at 6:30pm with the School Committee - School Budget
• Monday, March 7th at 6:30pm - includes municipal departments
• Wednesday, March 9th at 6:30pm - includes human services and outside agencies

FY 2022-2023 Town Council Preliminary Budget

The Town Council met on March 21st and adopted the preliminary budget as amended. 

Public Hearings with the School Committee on the adopted preliminary budget will be held in person at 7pm on Thursday, April 14th and Monday, April 18th in the Council Chambers.
