Local History

Each branch of the South Kingstown Public Library holds books and materials pertaining to the local history of its particular area, in addition to general works on the history of Rhode Island. Most of these resources do not circulate but are catalogued and seachable by author, title, and subject in the Ocean State Libraries catalog. Reference staff at each branch is available for help with local history questions.
