Museum Passes

 

AT PEACE DALE LIBRARY

 

Roger Williams Park Zoo. January--June & September--December: Library pass discount rates (for any combination of 4 Adults, Seniors, and Children) are $6.00 per Adult, $4.00 per Senior, and $3.00 per Child. During July and August, discount rates are $9.00 per Adult, $6.00 per Senior, and $5.00 per Child. (Adults are 13-61 years; Children are 3-12 years, and Seniors are 62+ years. Children under 3 years are free.)  Pass is not valid on fundraising exhibits. Prices subject to change.

 

Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration. This pass provides discount admission for up to 4 people. September 5--May 31: Two adults, $14.50 each; Two Children, $10.50 each. June 1--Sept. 4: Two Adults, $16.75 each; Two Children, $12.25 each. The Child Admission applies to children ages 3-17. 

 

Mashantucket Pequot Museum. This pass provides a half-price admission

for up to 2 adults and 2 children. (Regular adult admission is $15.00/person.)

 

AT KINGSTON FREE LIBRARY

 

Blithewold Mansion, Gardens, and Arboretum This pass provides free admission for 2 adults and up to 6 children. Blithewold is open Wednesday through Sunday; closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Hours of operation: Mansion, 10-4; Gardens 10-5.

 

New Bedford Whaling Museum. This pass provides free admission for up to 4 people. The Library has two sets.

HOW THE PASSES WORK:

 

You may visit an area attraction for a free or reduced admission, using a pass from one of the South Kingstown Public Libraries. Not every library has every pass.

 

Passes are checked out on your library card for 24 hours. The passes may not be reserved more than a day ahead. There is no charge to check one out, but if passes are returned late there is a $2.00 late fee per day. If the library is closed when you arrive to return the pass, you may put it in the book drop near the front door.

 

Passes are generously provided by Friends of the Peace Dale Library, Friends of the Kingston Free Library, Friends of the Robert Beverly Hale Library, and the GFWC Women's Club of South County. Any community group is welcome to provide a pass.
