Board of Trustees

 

In accordance with R.I. Law #29-4:5-8 and the Code of the Town of South Kingstown, Chapter 8, the South Kingstown Public Library is governed by the Library Board of Trustees.

 

The Board consists of seven members appointed by the Town Council for terms of three years with appointments being staggered. The Trustees serve without remuneration.

 

All meetings begin at 7:30 PM and are held at the central library in Peace Dale, except as noted below.*  Meetings are open to the public with the agenda posted at Town Hall.

2010 BI- MONTHLY MEETING SCHEDULE
TOWN OF SOUTH KINGSTOWN

 

The following notice is given in accordance with Section 42-46-6 of the General Laws of 1956 as amended. The schedule of regular meetings for the South Kingstown Public Library Board of Trustees for 2010 is as follows:

 

January 12

March 9

May 11

July 13
September 14
November 9

 

All meetings will be held at 7:30 PM at the South Kingstown Public Library @ Peace Dale, 1057 Kingstown Road, Peace Dale, RI 02879 with the exception of the March 9th and May 11th meetings. The March 9th meeting will be held at the Kingston Free Library, 2605 Kingstown Road, Kingston, RI 02881 at 7:30 PM, and the May 11th meeting will be held at the Robert Beverly Hale Library, 2601 Commodore Perry Highway, Wakefield, RI 02879 at 8 PM.
