As South Kingstown proudly celebrates its 300th anniversary in 2023, it seems appropriate and timely to ask:
“What about the next 300 years?”
Please join us for a highly interactive community forum, during which we will learn about and seek solutions to
three of the most urgent issues confronting our community today and in the years ahead:
✓ Composting and Waste Management
✓ Energy Efficiency and the Transition to Renewable Energy
✓ Water Conservation
This forum will combine brief presentations on these topics with small group discussions. Participants will
generate, share, and document ideas and strategies towards tangible solutions at the individual & municipal level.
Hosted by members of the South Kingstown Sustainability Committee, 300th Anniversary Planning Committee,
Conservation Commission, and Planning Board. This event is free and open to the public.
