The Towns of South Kingstown, North Kingstown, and Narragansett are partnering with the American Red Cross to provide shelter training to interested community members. This Shelter training will provide participants with the opportunity to prepare to help your neighbors in need during times of disaster.
Participants will be able to increase their knowledge of working in a shelter and gain confidence in performing various shelter tasks. They will also will gain valuable hands on experience in order to support and volunteer with the Red Cross or your local Emergency Management team. The event is being held on November 18th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Broad Rock Middle School. Please sign up by clicking on the QR code on the attached flyer.
