The Park and Recreation Department is excited to announce that the outdated playgrounds at Tuckertown Park and Fagan Park will be replaced with new, modern play structures this fall.
Site preparation has already begun at Tuckertown Park, with installation of the new playground scheduled to start the week of September 16. Work at Fagan Park will follow shortly after, with site preparation expected to begin later in September and installation to proceed once the Tuckertown project is complete.
These improvements are being made possible through funding from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), authorized by the South Kingstown Town Council.
We appreciate the public's cooperation and understanding while the play area is closed.
