Now that the snow has cleared, work is resuming on the Old Mountain Field improvement project. As part of this project, the electrical transformer is being replaced. The existing transformer has already been removed, and as a result the electrical service that powers the lights at the baseball field and skate park will be temporarily unavailable while the replacement work takes place.
Beginning the week of March 16, the contractor will be on site to start initial project setup. This work will include installing erosion control measures, site containment, temporary fencing, and other steps to ensure the safety and security of the area during construction.
