Due to a shortage of life safety personnel, the South Kingstown Town Beach must suspend lifeguard services and beach parking fees as of Friday, August 17th. Parking lots, restrooms and shower facilities will remain open to the public through Labor Day. Vehicles with Town Beach parking stickers will receive first priority.
Upon entrance to the Town Beach visitors will be cautioned by attendants, as well as warning signs, throughout the property that there will be "No Lifeguards on Duty - Swim at Your Own Risk”
