2023 PAVEMENT RECLAMATION & OVERLAY PROGRAM
UPDATE – OLD NORTH ROAD
In Conjunction with the Town’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP), Old North Road from Route 138 to Flagg Road is scheduled for pavement overlay starting Tuesday, November 7, 2023 between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Please expect delays during work hours and carefully follow the proposed detour. Traffic from the north is asked to follow Stony Fort Road to Plains Road while traffic from Town and south is asked to use Upper College Road to campus. Route 138 is unobstructed.
It’s estimated that construction will last for approximately 4 weeks. Please do not leave vehicles parked on or near the roadway during these hours. The road will be continuously open to local residents wishing to access their properties and the road will be open during evening hours. However, thru traffic is discouraged. Given construction operations are inconvenient, we respectfully request your patience and cooperation.
