As we get closer to the potential for snow, we would like to remind residents that the Town has in place an Ordinance (Chapter 16-2) requiring all property owners abutting a sidewalk to clear the sidewalk of snow, or treat it for ice, within 12 hours after the cessation of a snow/ice event. An exemption from the Ordinance is allowed for residents age 62 or older or disabled residents.
