STOREFRONT FAÇADE GRANTS
Deadline Extended by Town Council (6 weeks)
The Town’s new Façade Improvement Program is part of the Town’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) economic initiative and is intended to support rehabilitation and/or redevelopment of commercial property; encourage new and expanding businesses; foster revitalization of commercial corridors; and encourage private investment in existing commercial structures. The Town has set aside $1,250,000 for eligible commercial properties in Wakefield and Peace Dale through this grant program.
Complete the grant application form before the deadline: June 7, 2024 July 19, 2024 (4:00pm). The applicant must also be able to provide a minimum match towards the total cost of their project. Applications are available online at
