PUBLIC WORKSHOP
South Kingstown’s 2025 HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN UPDATE
Residents are invited to attend a PUBLIC WORKSHOP in the Town Council Chambers on:
January 9, 2025 (Thursday), from 5:30-7:00pm.
Hazard mitigation are actions taken to help reduce or eliminate long-term risks caused by hazards or disasters, such as hurricanes, flooding, wildfires, and natural disasters. The public workshop will focus on a review of the mitigation planning process, the project team’s preliminary risk assessment, and a community discussion about natural hazards and risk in South Kingstown, Rhode Island.
