TOTAL OUTDOOR WATER BAN IN EFFECT

Effective immediately, each water utility is imposing a a full outdoor water ban. Customers are encouraged to use water wisely. Customers should not be using sprinklers or watering lawns in an effort to conserve the water supply.  

Hand watering of gardens is permissible. This watering restriction is being enacted to ensure sufficient supply to meet customer needs.

Full Outdoor Water Ban for Narragansett and South Kingstown (Veolia Rhode Island and Town) Water Customers

 

In response to recent dry conditions and heavy consumer demand, Veolia Rhode Island, and the Towns of South Kingstown and Narragansett have announced a ban on all outdoor water use for the following water system customers: 

• Veolia Rhode Island water system customers 

• Town of South Kingstown - South Shore and Middlebridge water system customers 

• Town of Narragansett – All water system customers 

Please note that these restrictions do not affect Kingston Water District customers. 

Effective immediately, a mandatory ban is in effect on all outdoor water use until further notice. This watering ban is being enacted to ensure sufficient fire protection and supply to meet customer needs. In addition, water customers are encouraged to use water wisely.
