New dogs and dogs that are six (6) months or older must be licensed immediately. You can download a dog license form here or pick one up from the drop box outside of Town Hall. Completed license forms and rabies certificates can be submitted by mail or left in the drop box at the main entrance to the Town Hall. Please do not send cash. We will process requests as they are received and mail the dog license(s) back to you. All dog licenses must be renewed prior to May 1st.
The license fee is $8 for an altered dog or $13 for an unaltered dog. Please note this includes a $1 surcharge mandated by State Law under RIGL §4-24-9. If altered, proof must be presented at time of licensing. A current Certificate of Vaccination or Inoculation against Rabies must be presented before a license can be issued.
