Q: Will the SK school sports schedule, little league or other scheduled activities at Old Mountain Field be impacted?
A: No. All scheduled athletics and activities will take place as planned. Spectators will experience the inconvenience of relocated seating for the baseball field and reduced parking availability in the park.
Q: Will there be enough electrical power for all field operations?
A: Yes. A 500-kilowatt generator will be installed on site to support the field lights, scoreboard, score booth, and skate park. It has capacity to safely operate all systems at the same time without limitations.
Q: Will construction fence remain in place as is?
A: The construction fencing will remain in its current configuration. It extends to the end of the third base dugout and, on the first base side, to the press box. This setup is necessary to support ongoing construction activities and maintain safety.
Q: Where can spectators sit or watch games?
A: Bleacher seating is available on both the right field and left field sides beyond the dugouts.
Q: Is parking available at the field?
A: Yes, parking is available however the number of spaces is reduced to accommodate the construction site. There is public parking on Kingstown Road.
Q: Are restroom facilities available on site?
A: Yes. Five portable restrooms were recently delivered to the park and are available for use.
Q: When will the project be completed?
A: The project is expected to be completed by the end of October 2026
