Obtaining a Sewer Permit
Once all the fees have been paid, a State Licensed Underground Utility Contractor or Master Plumber may obtain a sewer permit at the Wastewater Division Office, 509 Commodore Perry Highway, Wakefield, Rhode Island. Contractors and Master Plumbers must show their State license.
Sewer Line Inspections
Sewer line inspections must be scheduled at least 48 hours before digging begins and the sewer permit must be on site when the inspector arrives. Call the Wastewater Division office at 401-789-9331, ext. 2250 to schedule an inspection.
