Residents of Narragansett and South Kingstown have the option of contracting with a licensed private hauler for curbside pickup or taking their trash and recyclables to the Rose Hill Regional Transfer Station.
By State Law and Town Ordinance, all residents, whether they use the transfer station or a private hauler, must recycle.
Residents of South Kingstown and Narraganset can utilize their own recycling bins for recyclables, or contact their hauler for suggestions. Please make sure all containers are clearly labelled as recycling. The Towns of Narragansett and South Kingstown no longer offer recycling bins for residents. Private Trash & Recyclables Hauler Option
For residents opting to have curbside pickup service, residents are required to select a licensed hauler. If a hauler is not on the Town list, they are not currently licensed to provide residential or commercial services in Narragansett and/or South Kingstown. It is recommended to contact each of the licensed haulers for pricing, since prices can vary significantly.

As a condition of licensing, all haulers must collect recyclables curbside on a regular schedule. Residents should contact their private hauler for information on their recycling schedule.
