Amount of Tax Credit
Qualifying applicants receive a $426 tax credit toward taxes on their dwelling.
How to Qualify
South Kingstown must be the applicant's legal and primary residence. A letter from an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist must also be provided stating that the individual is legally blind. All applications for Blind Persons Exemptions shall be filed with the Town Assessor by January 31 of each year for which the exemption is claimed.
