Application Forms & Checklists

All applications for subdivision, land development project, and development plan review must submit an application and plans as required by the applicable checklist.  Please contact the Planning Department at (401) 789-9331 x1244 to set up an initial meeting to discuss the requirements for your specific project.

In accordance with recent changes to state law (see RIGL § 45-23-36.1), the South Kingstown Planning Department has moved to an online, e-permitting system.

Effective Tuesday, 1/20/2026, all subdivision and land development applications must be submitted through the Town's new online application portal. You can access the site using this link:   https://southkingstownri.portal.opengov.com/

As a result of this state-mandated change, hard-copy applications can no longer be accepted.
